Charter or Explore
This is no ordinary little ship. Just to be on board is a treat. Built to withstand the worst of sea conditions this converted ice-breaking North Sea rescue tug is tough, stable and comfortable. She puts the fun back into Ocean travel. Over the last 13 years this ship has undergone an extensive modernisation that has created a traveling charter boat like no other.
Just from the engineering point of view, as a rescue ship, she has double to triple redundancy for most systems including main engines and generators plus desalinates 6,000 litres of water a day. Big tanks too - she carries 34,000 litres of fuel and 18,000 litres of water.
The massive under-cover aft deck area offers outside lounge, bar and bench seating with surround sound music, cinema and even a hammock! Follow the teak decks forward to the bow or climb to the upper crows nest or monkey bridge for an amazing view of all the surrounding waters.
Internally she is a mixture of classic and modern – fully air-conditioned, carpeted, leather lounges with Plasma screen TV, twin satellite phone/fax/data systems, internal TV/video network to all cabins, modern galley, walk-in fridge/freezer and more … all the comforts of home plus.
